In January 2015, the loading at the network of Russian Railways OJSC totaled 96.6 mln t (0.3%, year-on-year), the company’s press center says.
In the reported period, Russian Railways loaded 27.9 mln t of coal (+3.6%, year-on-year); 0.926 mln t of coke (-4%); 22.6 mln t of crude and oil products (+0.5%); 9.2 mln t of iron and manganese ore (+4.3%); 6.4 mln t of ferrous metal (+13%); 0.674 mln t of ferrous metal scrap (-1.5%); 4.4 mln t of chemical and mineral fertilizers (-0.7%); 1.4 mln t of cement (-4.1%); 3.1 mln t of timber (+7.3%); 1.6 mln t of grain (+60.9%); 6.5 mln t of construction materials (-26.1%); 1.6 mln t of non-ferrous ore and raw sulphur (-0.3%); 2.2 mln t of chemicals and soda (-1.8%); 2.1 mln t of industrial raw materials and molding materials (-9.9%).
In January 2015, the company’s cargo turnover totaled 188.2 bln tarrif t-km (-1.6%). Cargo turnover including empty wagon run declined by 2.4% to 241.8 bln tarrif t-km.
