Budget allocations to finance the Project on Construction of the Dry Cargo District in the Port of Taman will make RUB 2.8 bln in 2015, RUB 11.7 bln in 2016 and RUB 10.7 bln in 2017 as under the Law on Federal Budget of 2015 and Planning Period of 2016-2017 (01.12.2014, No 384-FL), press center of RF Ministry of Finance told IAA PortNews.
Under the federal special-purpose programme Development of Russia’s Transport System (2010-2020), total funding of the Project makes RUB 228 bln including RUB 76 bln of budget allocations and RUB 152 bln from non-budget sources.
The Project is being implemented through private-public partnership. As press center of the Ministry of Finance says, specific mechanism for financing of the Project is being elaborated today.
“Despite the considerable reduction of the budget amid the current crisis situation, the state has preserved its plans on financing of dry cargo district in Taman, the Project is still among the priorities and its financing is included into the federal special-purpose programme for 2018-2020,” Director General of RMP-Taman LLC Igor Rusu told IAA PortNews.
As IAA PortNews reported earlier, new dry cargo district in the port of Taman is expected to handle 94 mln t of cargo per year by 2025. The agreements of intent to participate in the Project have been already signed with a number of investors including UCL Port, Global Ports, Metalloinvest, Uralchem, Kuzbassrazrezugol, EuroChem, Siberian Coal Energy Company, Basel, Uralkali, Forum Holding (Saint-Petersburg, investor of MMPK Bronka).
