The list of priority development areas in the Far East of Russia includes six investment projects, deputy Prime Minister and presidential plenipotentiary of the Far East Federal District Yuri Trutnev said at the meeting chaired by RF Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.
According to Yuri Trutnev the list includes the following projects: mining and processing works “Inaglinsky” (Yakutia), construction of intermodal center for coal transshipment at port Vanino (Khabarovsk Territory), comprehensive investment project for the development of coal mining in Khabarovsk Territory and Sakha Republic (Yakutia, two projects), development of gold mining in the Amur Region as well as mining-and-metallurgical integrated works in the Kamchatka Territory.
Yuri Trutnev says implementation of the above projects will bring RUB 180 bln of private investments into the region (taking into consideration anchor investors and planned investments). State investments into infrastructure construction is estimated at RUB 23 bln.
