Rosgranitsa defines limits of marine border port-of-entry post at Port of Azov (photo)

On March 11 2015, the commission of the Federal Agency for Development of the State Border Facilities of the Russian Federation visited the seaport of Azov to define the boundaries of the marine cargo permanent multi-lane port-of-entry post in the Port of Azov, Rosgranitsa said.

The commission signed a certificate establishing that 6 offshore anchorages and eight marine terminals are included in the BIP boundaries.

The commission was carried out in accordance with A. 8 of the Rules defining the limits of border and customs port-of-entry post at the state border of the Russian Federation, approved by the Government of the Russian Federation (04.07.2008, № 253).

Port of Azov is situated on the banks of the Don river. It is the main gateway between the Mediterranean Sea with the inland waterways of Russia and the Caspian Sea, for freight flows to the central part of Russia, the Urals and Central Asia.
