By the decision of the BoD of Proletarsky Zavod (Saint-Petersburg, USC), Yury Gabdrafikov was appointed Acting CEO of the shipbuilding company on July 21, 2015, USC press center says.
Founded in the first quarter of the 19th century JSC “Proletarsky Zavod” from the first days of its activity the plant became one of the most powerful diversified machine-building enterprises of Saint-Petersburg.
More than 50 years the company specialized mainly in marine and power engineering.
Over the last years specialists of the company managed to achieve high results in manufacturing of marine systems, mechanisms and complexes some of which don’t have any analogs in domestic practice. The company delivers products for military and civil ships, including cruiser-carriers, nuclear submarine missile carriers, super tankers.
There is a significant contribution of the company to development of power engineering of large and small power plants - the company develops and produces pump equipment for Thermal Stations, Steam-gas Plants, Nuclear Power Plants and oil industry, gas turbine generators and steam turbine generators as well as transportable gas turbine power stations.
