Throughput of port Kaliningrad down 5% to 7,512,100 in 7M’15
In January-July 2015, the port of Kaliningrad handled 7,512,100 t of cargo (-5%, year-on-year), says Baltic Sea Ports Administration.
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo fell by 4% to 814,900 t including 233,600 t of coal (-21%). Transshipment of dry loose cargo climbed by 8% to 2,249,000 t, general cargo – down 19% to 891,500 t, containerized cargo - down 39% to 485,000 t (89,960 TEUs).
Transshipment of cargoes carried by ferries totaled 1,068,700 t (+39%), liquid bulk cargo – 1,989,200 t (-13%) including 1,146,800 t of oil products (-19%), 459,600 t of oil (-10%) and 359,500 of food cargo (+11%).
