Draft decision on allowable bunker stores volumes submitted to EEC

RF Transport Ministry in conjunction with the Federal Customs Service of Russia has elaborated the draft decision of the Eurasian Economic Commission on determining the amount norms for bunker fuel transported by vessels as store, Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov said at the meeting on development of transportation infrastructure in Russia’s south chaired by RF President Vladimir Putin. According to the Minister, on August 13, 2015, the Ministry of Economic Development has submitted this draft decision to the EEC for consideration on the inter-state level.

The Federal Customs Service has developed risk profiles providing for measures on enhancing the control of bunker fuel exports in compliance with formulas submitted to the Eurasian Commission. 

Besides, Federal Transportation Inspection Service (Rostransnadzor)  and Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot) have been instructed to organize unscheduled inspections of bunkering companies to ensure complete resolution of the issue.
