On August 21, 2015, Federal Agency of Sea and River Transport (Rosmorrechflot) took the delivery of the Farvater, buoy tender of project 3052 built to the order of RechVodPut for Volga Basin Authority, the Agency’s press center says.
The vessel of project 3052 has been built under the state contract for “Renovation of Auxiliary fleet” activity of the federal special-purpose programme “Development of Russia’s Transportation System in 2010 – 2020”.
The project had been developed by the Gorky Central Design Bureau of the River Fleet. The vessel was has been built by Moscow Shipbuilding and Ship-Repair Plant at the production facilities of Nobel Brothers Shipyard (Rybinsk, Yaroslavl Region).
Vessel’s type - buoy tender (auxiliary vessel); class: RRR *О-пр 2.0 (ice 20), overall length – 35.8 m, width - 6 m, depth – 2.6 m, maximum draft – 1.4 m, displacement - 144 cub m, capacity of 2 major engines - 165 kW each, max speed - 24 km/h, sea endurance - 4 days. Crew - 6/4.
The ship is equipped with state-of-the-art control and navigation systems.
