In January-August 2015, Russian Railways loaded 796.8 mln t of cargo (-1.4%, year-on-year), the company’s press center says.
In the reported period, Russian Railways loaded 207.3 mln t of coal (+2.5%, year-on-year); 7.5 mln t of coke (-1.5%); 169.3 mln t of crude and oil products (-0.6%); 72.2 mln t of iron and manganese ore (+0.8%); 48.1 mln t of ferrous metal (+1.5%); 10 mln t of ferrous metal scrap (-5%); 34.1 mln t of chemical and mineral fertilizers (+2.3%); 19.7 mln t of cement (-13%); 26.8 mln t of forest cargo (+2.1%); 10.6 mln t of grain (+8.2%); 83.5 mln t of construction materials (-13.6%); 13.6 mln t of non-ferrous ore and raw sulphur (+4.4%); 16.6 mln t of chemicals and soda (-2.6%); 22.5 mln t of industrial raw materials and molding materials (-3.2%).
In the reported period, the company’s cargo turnover totaled 1,513.4 bln tarrif t-km (-0.1%). Cargo turnover including empty wagon run — 1,943.3 bln tarrif t-km (0.4%).
In August, Russian Railways loaded 105.2 mln t of cargo (-0.6%, year-on-year).
