Loading at Russian Railways’ Oktyabrskaya branch down 7% to 78.9 mln t in 10M’15

In January-October 2015, loading at Russian Railways’ Oktyabrskaya branch totaled 78.9 mln t (-7%, year-on-year), the company’a press center says.

In the reported period, loading of ferrous metal totaled 668,800 t (+36.1%); chemical and mineral fertilizers – 12,42,000 t (+2.2%); imported cargo – 1,980,900 t (+2.6%); raw material for industrial applications – 2,065,500 t (+3%).

In the 10-month period, railway turnover of seaports service d by Oktyabrskaya Railway totaled 100.8 mln t (+3%, year-on-year).

In October 2015, loading at Oktyabrskaya Railway exceeded 8.5 mln t (-0.7%, year-on-year) including 53,800 t of non ferrous ore (+4.6%),  1,282,600 t of chemical and mineral fertilizers (+7%); 2,779,300 t of construction cargoes (+16.9%); 414,800 t of timber (+4.8%); 78,200 t of cement (+9.2%); 221,400 t of import cargo (+34.3%); 250,300 t of  raw material for industrial applications (19.5%).
