On 15th December 2015, the gala dinner for the Asset Corporate Awards 2015 organised by the Asia’s renowned financial magazine, The Asset, was held in Four Seasons Hotel in Hong Kong, the Company said in a press release. COSCO International was awarded the Gold Award by the judging panel, which is the fifth consecutive year that COSCO International has been honored in this competition. At the same time, COSCO International won the Best Investor Relations Team Award and the Best Initiative in Social Responsibility Award, which fully demonstrated that the Company’s excellence in investor relations and social responsibility was highly acclaimed by the capital market.
The Asset Corporate Awards is an annual competition held by The Asset magazine. The Awards are designed to recognise those companies with excellence in corporate governance and excellence in meeting social and ethical objectives. This year, the organiser introduced several new awards. They included Best Chief Executive Officer Award, Best Investor Relations Team Award, Best Initiative in Innovation, Best Initiative in Social Responsibility, and Best Initiative in Environmental Responsibility. These awards are designed to recognise the companies which demonstrated exemplary initiatives and their achievements in relevant areas in the past year.
