Linde selected by Gazprom for major gas processing project in Russia
Linde has been selected by Gazprom and its general contractor NIPIgas as the licenser for cryogenic gas separation technology at the Amur Gas Processing Plant, which will be one of the largest gas processing plants in the world once completed, the company said in its press release. The plant is part of Gazproms project for the supply of Russian gas to China via the Power of Siberia pipeline from eastern Siberian gas fields and will be built in five phases ending in 2024.
Amur gas processing plant also will connect to PSJC Sibur Holding's long-planned integrated ethylene, polyethylene, and polypropylene production complex under construction at Tobolsk in Western Siberia's Tyumen region.
Amur plant will process multicomponent gas it receives from EGP's Irkutsk and Yakutia gas production centers via the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
