The Black Sea Fleet rescue forces held an exercise on searching and providing assistance to the simulated disabled submarine, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
In the course of the exercise, aircraft crews practiced searching procedure of the “disabled” submarine. It was simulated by the Novorossiysk submarine of the Black Sea Fleet.
The rescuers practiced evacuating the submarine crew to the rescue tug boat, assessed the condition of sections and hull of the “disabled” submarine, and towed it to the base port.
In total, up to different ships and vessels, An-26 and Ka-27PS aircraft were involved in the exercise.
