With effect from Tuesday, April 26, operations at APM Terminals in Gothenburg will be affected by strike action taken by members of the No. 4. Branch of the Swedish Dockworkers' Union. The strike began at 7am today, Tuesday, April 26, and will continue for 24 hours. A 24-hour strike is also planned for Thursday April 28, also commencing at 7am.
The Union has presented a list of demands which APM Terminals is unable to meet. There is an ongoing dialogue with customers to mitigate any negative consequences.
The strike will not affect other terminals at the Port of Gothenburg.
