Construction of the root section of the south-eastern ice protection facility (SEIPF) at seaport Sabetta has been completed in compliance with the project, sanitary, environmental, firefighting and construction requirements and state standards. FSUE Rosmorport says its acceptance commission has signed the acceptance certificate (No KS-14).
The acceptance commission which also included the representatives of Rosmorrechflot (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency), designer and the general contractor under the Project on Construction of the Root Section of the South-Eastern Ice Protection Facility Including the Artificial Plot of Land and Coast Protection (at sections I, II, III and IV) performed the acceptance procedure on April 19-20.
Project on Construction of Sabetta Seaport Facilities on the Yamal Peninsula Including Creation of a Navigable Access Channel in the Ob Bay (part of Marine Transport sub-programme of the Federal Targeted Programme Development of Russia’s Transport System in 2010 – 2020). Rosmorrechflot (Federal Marine and River Transport Agency) says the commission accepted the facilities on April 19-21.
FSUE Rosmorport is the developer of the Project on Construction of Sabetta Seaport Facilities on the Yamal Peninsula Including Creation of a Navigable Access Channel in the Ob Bay (part of Marine Transport sub-programme of the Federal Targeted Programme Development of Russia’s Transport System in 2010 – 2020).
The Project was designed by JSC LENMORNIIPROEKT. General Contractor under the Project - Mezhregionstroiprovodstroi OJSC.
The root section of SEIPF is about 3 km long with the artificial plot of land of 14.75 hectares surrounded with coast protection facilities – vertical piles at sections I, II, III and reinforced concrete slabs placed at an angle at section IV.
The works under the project were performed from November 2014 till March 2016 in challenging conditions with temperature as low as up to -50 С° and stormy wind of up to 25 m/s.
Allocations of the federal budget under the Project amounted to RUB 10.95 bln.
