In January-April 2016, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport OJSC) handled 1,002,700 t of cargo (+36.6%, year-on-year), the stevedoring company told IAA PortNews.
Transshipment of fish products totaled 99,600 t (+22.8%), 362,000 (+ 72,5 %); metal scrap – 85,100 (+ 3.8 %); containers – 37,512 TEUs including 14,401 TEUs of export containers (+ 10.1%) and 11,545 TEUs of import containers (- 26.7%).
In January-February 2016, the port handled 102 vessels and 5,652 wagons.
Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port is a multi-purpose reloading complex on the southern coast of the nonfreezing Zolotoi Rog Bay. The quay line of 10 berths which is 2,020 m long, 9 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day. Transshipment of fish products, that is a key activity of Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port surged over 2-fold in 2015 – to 307,500 t.
