State Duma passed in the first reading the bill on seaports

On May 17, 2016, the State Duma of the Russian Federation passed in the first reading the bill No 1029636-6 "On introduction of amendments into the Federal Law “On Seaports of the Russian Federation and on introduction of amendments into certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation” and into some legislative acts of the Russian Federation” expanding the rights of sea terminals’ operators, the State Duma says.

The draft law intended to improve legislative control of activities in seaports was presented to the State Duma deputies by Victor Olersky, Deputy Minister of Transport.

The Government of the Russian Federation considered and approved the draft law on March 24, 2016.
