Transneft is set to establish Urals Heavy brand oil and to export it via Ust-Luga

Transneft is going to establish the Urals Heavy brand oil and to export it via the port of Ust-Luga, IAA PortNews journalist cites Igor Katsal, Vice-President of Transneft, as saying at the meeting of the Company’s Expert Council held in Moscow. 

According to him, the new brand will be established through gradual withdrawal of high-sulphur oil from the Urals oil. It’s sulphur content will be 2.3%. This brand oil is to be exported via the port of Ust-Luga, some 30 mln t per year.
