Petrobras announces new CEO and changes to management team

Mr. Aldemir Bendine resigned from the posts of CEO, member of the Board of Petrobras and the Board of Petrobras Distribuidora – BR. Petrobras said it has received Mr. Aldemir Bendine’s letter of resignation from the positions.

In the light of the resignation the Board yesterday elected at its meeting engineer Pedro Pullen Parente as a Member of the Board of Petrobras. The Council at the same meeting also elected Mr. Pedro Parente for the office of President of the Company and appointed the Director of Human Resources, Safety, Environment and Health and Human Services, Hugo Repsold Junior, for the interim exercise of the functions of the President of the Company.

Besides, Petrobras received the letter of resignation of the Director of Administration Luciano Coutinho and that the post remain vacant until the election of a new member to the Council.
