In January-June 2016, Russian seaports handled 344.5 mln t of cargo (+6%, year-on-year), says the press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Transshipment of dry bulk cargo totaled 156.8 mln t (+10.7 %), liquid bulk cargo - 187.7 mln t (+ 2.3 %).
Operators of the Arctic Basin terminals handled 21.28 mln t (+ 24.9%) including 12.7 mln t of dry cargo (+ 10.9%) and 8.56 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 53.8%).
The ports of the Baltic Basin handled 116.4 mln t (+ 2%) including 43.3 mln t of dry cargo (+ 1.1%) and 73.1 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 2.5%).
Throughput of Azov - Black Sea ports climbed to 113 mln t (+ 5.3%) including 45.5 mln t of dry cargo (+ 16.9%) and 67.48 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (- 1.1%).
The ports of the Caspian Basin handled 2.88 mln t (- 19.5 %) including 1.43 mln t of dry cargo (- 11.8%) and 1.45 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (- 25.9%).
The ports of Far East Basin handled 90.88 mln t (+ 9.5%) including 53.7 mln t of dry cargo (+ 15%) and 37.1 mln t of liquid bulk cargo (+ 2.3%).
