In January-June 2016, port Kavkaz handled 10,631,000 t (+19%, year-on-year), Harbour Master of port Kavkaz Yevgeny Tuzinkevich told IAA PortNews.
Off-harbour transshipment complex handled 2,715,000 t of export cargo (down 35%, year-on-year).
Transshipment of oil products increased by 18% to 4,772,000 t, sulphur and mineral fertilizers – by 72% to 1,267,000 t, grain – by 40% to 564,000 t. Transshipment of LPG declined by 7% to 105,000 t.
Exports from port Kavkaz fell by 25% to 256,000 t, imports – 4.4 times to 52,000 t. Transshipment of coastal trade cargo surged by 71% to 7,451,000 t.
Bunker sales at the port dropped by 38% to 157,000 t.
Passenger turnover climbed by 32% to 1,809,444 passengers.
The number of calls increased by 37% to 10,754 calls.
