HI’16 bunker sales at port Vladivostok down 3 times, y-o-y, to 189,000 t

In January-June 2016, total sales of bunker fuel at port Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to 189,000 t, down 3 times against HI’15 (over 587,000 t), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic tol IAA PortNews. 

1/3 to ¼ of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal). 

In June, bunker sales from the port’s offshore terminals amounted to 5,600 t, at the port – 30,000 t. In the reported period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled some 142,700 t, fuel containing material – about 45,700 t with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume. Sales of diesel fuel have increased month-to-month, from 70 t in May to 255 t in June.

The number of bunkering operations declined from 1,737 to 1,654.
