Throughput of Murmansk Sea Fishing Port down 21.6% to 144,400 t in HI’2016 (photo)

In January- June 2016, Murmansk Sea Fishing Port OJSC handled 144,400 t of cargo, down 21.6%, year-on-year , shows the stevedoring company’s statistics.

In the reported period, the company handled 86,400 t of fish products (-17.5%, year-on-year).

In June, the company handled 21,100 t of cargo (-4.7% against May 2016) including 18,800 t of fish products (+45.7% against June 2015).

In June the port handled 101 vessels including 15 large capacity ships (against 90/11calls in June 2015).

JSC Murmansk Sea Fishing Port specializes in handling cargo from fishing boats, mother ships and reefer ships. It also transships packaged, palleted and loose cargo, as well as general cargo of commercial and military use. The company’s quay side is 2,765 meters long. It owns port fleet, fleet of lifting equipment, auxiliary equipment, refrigerators, rail facilities and yard engines.

In 2015 the company handled 371,400 t of cargo (-10.8%).
