Cargo transportation by Ukraine’s water transport up 2.3% to 2.5 mln t in HI’2016

In January-June 2016, water transport of Ukraine carried 2.5 mln t of cargo (+2.3%, year-on-year), says State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

Cargo turnover decreased by 35.2% to 1,690.7 mln tonne-km.

The increase was registered in all transport sectors, except the railway transport (-1.2%).

All types of transport carried 291.0 mln t of cargo (+3.9%, year-on-year).
