Passenger Port of St. Petersburg welcomed 15 cruise ships last week
Between 25-31 of July Passenger Port of St. Petersburg received 15 cruise ships which brought 27,587 passengers. The total berth time of the ships is 30 ship-days, total amount of passenger operations – 116,894.
Services provided to ships:
Fresh water bunkering – 3,766 m3
Garbage collection – 196 m3
Waste-waters reception – 1,154 m3
In the indicated period 9 helicopters have used the helipad of Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg for landing and take-off.
On July 25th, cruise ship Wind Surf operated by Windstar Cruises made its Inaugural call to Passenger Port of Saint Petersburg.
On July 28th, delegation of Republic of Korea leaded by Deputy Minister of state territories, infrastructure and transport Mr. Lee Seung Ho made a visit to the Passenger Port of St. Petersburg.
On July 29th, the ex- Vice-President of Nigeria Alex Ekwueme arrived to St. Petersburg on a cruise ship «Seven Seas Voyager » with an unofficial visit.
On July 29th, the TV series "Debtor’ hovel" was shoot by production company "Sreda" at the Passenger port of St. Petersburg.
July 28-29 “PP of SPb MF” PLC representatives at the invitation of the mayor Henry Lindel visited Kotka city and participated in the opening of annual Maritime Festival.
This week's highest quantity of ships in Port was 7, on July 26th.
Passenger Port of Saint-Petersburg «Marine Façade» PLC is in the ownership of the city of St. Petersburg and is the largest passenger seaport in Russia. Construction of Marine Façade began in 2006. The port can accommodate cruise and ferry ships of up to 330 m long and with a draft of up to 8.8 m. The length and depth of new access channels - 10 km and 11 m, accordingly. The port operates seven piers. The quay-side length – 2,171.06 m.
