Rosmorport and Novorossiysk sign agreement on cooperation in reconstruction of Novorossiysk port facilities

FSUE Rosmorport and Novorossiysk city Administration have signed an agreement on cooperation in reconstruction of Novorossiysk seaport facilities, Rosmorport says in a press release.

The parties will cooperate in reconstruction of passenger berths No 34, No 34А and in their further operation for servicing of cruise ships.

Berth No 34 is to be extended to the length of 288 meters with the depth of 7.5 m. The length of Berth No 34А will be 149 m, depth – 4.7 m. The berth will also have a required engineering infrastructure and navigation equipment.

Implementation of the project will let create favorable conditions for further development of passenger transportation in the Azov-Black Sea Basin and will facilitate the development of a tourism cluster in Novorossiysk, says the statement.
