Infotech Baltika successfully completed unique delivery of equipment of Gazpromneft-Omsk Refinery (photo release)

Infotech Baltika JSC says it has successfully completed unique delivery of the equipment intended for modernization of Gazpromneft-Omsk Refinery, PJSC.

The equipment, among which are 24 super oversized and heavy weight columns in total weight more than 6 thousand tons, were delivered to the construction site of ONPZ Refinery before the contract deadline.

For transportation of the equipment on route more than 9 000 km long, were involved 25-th barge - towing structures, including 2 ocean crane ships for transportation of the heavyweight equipment across the Northern Sea Route.

Special logistics and engineering solutions were used to implement the delivery of the equipment. 
When developing the logistic scheme were used the experience of delivery of the large-size heavyweight equipment for oil refineries, the innovation methods allowing to reduce time for the overload in difficult weather conditions in Gulf of Ob and unloading of the equipment on the mooring complex of Omsk Refinery.

The Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery, a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, is Russia’s largest such facility by refining volumes, and one of the most cutting-edge refineries in the country. Its current installed capacity — of 21.4 million tonnes (including a one million tonnes gas condensate capacity) puts it among the twenty largest refineries in the world.

Infotech Baltika JSC was established in 1992. The company has an extensive experience in providing cargo handling services, shipping agency and forwarding at the largest ports of Russia as well as multimodal transportation including oversized cargo. The Company is a member of Russian Customs Representatives Register.
