Bunker sales at port Vladivostok in 10M’16 fell almost 3 times to 313,600 t

In January-October 2016, total sales of bunker fuel at port Vladivostok and its offshore terminals amounted to 313,600 t, down almost 3 times against 10M’15 (over 852,000 t), Administration of Seaports of Primorsky Territory and Eastern Arctic told IAA PortNews. 

About 1/3 of this volume was sold at the offshore terminals (eastern, western and internal).

In October, bunker sales from the port’s offshore terminals amounted to 7,000 t, at the port – about 17,000 t.

As compared with October 2015, bunker sales dropped more than 2 times against 67,100 t in 2015.

In the 9-month period, sales of heavy fuel oil totaled some 227,900 t, fuel containing material – about 71,000 t with diesel fuel accounting for the rest of the volume. Sales of diesel fuel have decreased month-to-month, from 1,692 t in September to 1,000 t in October.

In January- September, the number of bunkering operations declined from 3,094 to 2,702.
