A diving training has been held at the Caspian flotilla in the basing ports of Astrakhan and Makhachkala, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
About 60 divers from 15 ships and auxiliary vessels of the Caspian flotilla including missile ships Tatarstan and Dagestan, small-sized missile and artillery ships Grad Sviyazhsk, Uglich, Veliky Ustyug, Volgodonsk, Makhachkala and auxiliary and vessels of the flotilla took part in the training activities.
The participants leant the procedures of different underwater works and practiced different missions such as sealing a hole, walking on the sea bottom, examination of the hull of a ship, etc.
The training finished with first aid practice.
