For 9 months of 2016 the Multipurpose Reloading Complex (MRC, part of UCL Holding) in the port of Ust-Luga (Leningrad region) has invested 1,84 mln roubles in realization of its social programme, which is twice as much as during the same period of last year, MRC says in a press release.
The main part of the funds was remitted as charity financing for construction of the new family library in the town of Kingisepp. For this purpose MRC’s money was used for reconstruction of the former shop.
MRC has also rendered additional financial support to its employees. The Company reimbursed expenses for medical services, medicine, recreation activities, excursions and sports events.
The Company’s employees got payments on the occasion of significant state holidays and family events such as wedding or a newborn. Besides, in the beginning of the new school year MRC rendered financial support to the workers whose kids went to school for the first time.
The Company has also spent funds for training of the personnel. Since the beginning of the year 44 employees have improved their qualification, which is three times more than during the same period of last year.

The main cargo is export power coal. In 2015 cargo turnover of MRC amounted to 4.2 mln tonnes.
