Ocean Yield ASA announces delivery of chemical carrier

Ocean Yield ASA has announced the delivery of the 49,000 dwt IMO II chemical tanker "Navig8 Tanzanite" from STX, Korea.
After being delivered from the shipyard today, the vessel commenced a 15 years "hell and high water" bareboat charter to Navig8 Chemical Tankers Inc.
Ocean Yield ASA has now taken delivery of seventeen vessels so far this year, increasing the fleet from 14 vessels on the water as of end 2015 to 31. Ocean Yield has another three vessels under construction, bringing the total fleet to 34 vessels.
