In January-October 2016, seaport of Azov handled 9,192,000 t (+2.4%, year-on-year), the port Harbour Master Vladimir Bragin told IAA PortNews.
In the reported period, transshipment of grain climbed by 6.6% to 5,151,000 t, oil products – by 3.7% to 3,046,000 t. Transshipment of coal dropped by 46.9% to 316,000 t.
In January-November 2016, internal turnover of Azov seaport climbed by 2.4% to 6,116,000 t, exports grew by 17.6% to 3,692,000 t, transit – by 2.3% to 3,075,000 t. Imports fell by 14% to 231,000 t, short-sea traffic – by 14.5% to 2,193,000 t.
The number of arrivals/departures amounted to 3,653 / 3,632 against 3,914 / 3,898 registered in Jan-Nov'15.
Sea port Azov is located in the mouth of river Don.
