  Ningbo Zhoushan Port extends sea-railway intermodal transport line

  

  6 TEUs of power distribution boxes exported to Italy were transported from Ganzhou, the southernmost city in Jiangxi Province, to Beilun Railway Station of Ningbo Zhoushan Port on May 2nd, indicating the opening of the sea-railway intermodal logistic channel from Ganzhou to Ningbo Zhoushan Port. So far, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has realized full coverage of sea-railway intermodal transport lines in Jiangxi Province.

  In recent years, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has been actively building “thousand-li Zhejiang-Jiangxi line”. In face of the competition of traditional transport means, such as waterway and highway transport, in Jiangxi region, the port improved service platform and relied on the port resources to give play of its own advantages and continuously exploited sea-railway intermodal market from Jiangxi to Ningbo Zhoushan Port.

  Ningbo Zhoushan Port Co., Ltd. gave full play of the function of the public platform of the sea-railway intermodal transport of NPRC Jiangxi Branch and realized the systematic interaction of dry ports, shipping companies and forwarders. By regulating operation procedure, integrated customer clearance and other service measures, the company reduced logistic costs for the customers and created favorable conditions for the sea-railway intermodal logistic channel of the port.
