Today the detachment of combat ships of the Pacific Ocean Fleet, consisting of the flagship of the Pacific Ocean Fleet Varyag Guards missile cruiser and Pechenga sea tanker, left Hong Kong, says press center of RF Defence Ministry.
During the visit, the sailors of the Pacific Ocean Fleet met with representatives of the headquarters of the Navy of the National Liberation Army of China. Servicemen of the Pacific Ocean Fleet visited the city's historical places and saw the sights of a foreign port, and held a number of joint friendly sports matches with Chinese sailors.
On 5th June, Varyag Guards missile cruiser was opened for the visit for the servicemen of the Navy of the National Liberation Army of China, residents and visitors of Hong Kong. During the day the ship was visited by more than 2 thousand people.
