Damen supports conference “LNG Fleet and LNG Bunkering in Russia” as its Sponsor. The conference will be held in Moscow in October 2017 with the assistance of the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The conference organizers are Krylov State Research Center and Russia’s leading industry-focused information and analytical agency PortNews. Gazpromneft Marine Bunker supports the event as its General Sponsor.
The conference objectives include accumulation and systematization of data related to the use of LNG by ships, determination of problems associated with creation and development of the new sector, determination of stakeholders that influence the use of LNG by seaborne and river transport in Russia.
The conference is to recognize the leading stakeholder able to undertake technical coordination of the search for solutions in the mentioned field and to establish a permanent council for dealing with the issues of using LNG at seaborne and river transport.
