Nobel Bros Shipyard begins drydocking of Shestaya Pyatiletka-class MS Olenegorsk
Rybinsk, Russia based Nobel Brothers Shipbuilding & Shiprepair Yard on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 placed the MS Olenegorsk (Project 576, Shestaya Pyatiletka class) in its drydock for carrying out scheduled off-season ship repair, the shipbuilding company said.
The "Shestaya Pyatiletka" class vessels are medium tonnage dry cargo ships equipped with four holds with hatch covers, double bottom, with aft located engine room and superstructure. The class vessel is modification Bolshaya Volga class series (Project 11).
The MS Olenegorsk was built in 1965 at Santierul Navale Oltenita Santierul Navale Galati Shipyard.
