The Egyptian government targets 5.7 milliard dollars revenues of the Suez Canal by end of current fiscal year that ends June 2018 compared with 5.6 milliard at end of past year this through passage of 17 vessels compared with 17.9 vessels last year.
And according to current fiscal year economic plan which the planning ministry has set and was approved by the cabinet last May, the reluctance in international trade traffic has led to reluctance in Suez Canal revenues from 5,4 milliard dollars in the year 2014/2015 to 5.12 milliard dollars in the year 2016/2017 as a result of decrease in number of crossing vessels from 17.54vessel to 17.25 thousand vessel.
