Wärtsilä's Board of Directors decides on a new share-based incentive scheme

Wärtsilä’s bonus scheme 2018 comprises 1,717,000 bonus rights. The bonus payment is based on the share price development during the three-year period on the basis of a share price of EUR 67.74, the company said in its press release. The bonus cannot exceed EUR 25.40 per bonus right and it takes into account 100% of dividends paid. The 2018 bonus scheme will be due for payment in February 2021. The bonus scheme applies to Wärtsilä’s senior management, consisting of approximately 100 directors.

The principles relating to Wärtsilä’s long-term incentive schemes are further described in the company’s remuneration report and on its website.
