Waterborne passenger traffic in Ukraine plummets 44.4% in January

Transportation of passengers by water transport in Ukraine declined in January 2018 by 44.4% year-on-year totaling only1000 people, the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine figures showed.

Passenger kilometres in the reporting period also fell by 42.8% reaching 500 000 p / km.

Overall, 366,7 million people in Ukraine used passenger transport services, which is 1.6% more than in January 2017.
