Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC increased financing of its social programme by 15% to RUB 3.1 million in 2017
In 2017, Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Holding) at the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region, increased financing of its social programme by 15%, year-on-year, to RUB 3.1 million. Implementation of charity projects, aid to employees and payment for their training were among key items of social expenditures.
For several years MRC has been actively involved in the development of social infrastructure in the town of Kingisepp. In particular, the company is financing the construction of a family library. As a recognition of close cooperation in social projects of high significance for the district, MRC was given the local administration’s Badge of Honour in 2017.
The company strongly supports its employees through compensation of their expenses for medical services, health resort treatment, sports and sightseeing. Special financial assistance is provided to multi-child and single-parent families, parents of first-graders, as well as to employees in difficult life situations. Besides, regular bonuses are paid to employees to celebrate anniversaries and holidays.
To ensure high professional skills of its personnel, the company held training of 82 employees, 3% more than in the previous year. To ensure safe work, 130 employees of MRC underwent additional training under different safety programmes.
Multipurpose Reloading Complex LLC (MRC, a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is cargo terminal in the port of Ust-Luga, Leningrad Region, specializing in unloading, storage and loading of exported and imported general and bulk cargoes. The main cargo is export power coal. In 2017, MRC LLC handled 5.5 mln t of cargo, up 23%, year-on-year.
