The Supervisory Board of AS Tallink Grupp says it has elected Mr Paavo Nõgene as the new Board Member of Tallink Grupp and appointed Nõgene as the new Chief Executive Officer for AS Tallink Grupp with effect from 1 May 2018. The current CEO of Tallink Grupp, Mr Janek Stalmeister, will remain in the group as a Member of the Management Board.
Paavo Nõgene has served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia since 1 January 2013. Prior to this, Paavo Nõgene was the Managing Director of Estonia’s biggest theatre Vanemuine and was active in private entrepreneurship.
Paavo Nõgene is currently a member of the Supervisory Board of Estonian National Broadcasting and the National Opera, and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the SA Estonian Art Museum, the SA Estonian Concert, the SA Estonian Drama Theatre, the SA Theatre Vanemuine and the SA Estonian Film Institute. In addition, he is a member of the Estonian Gambling Tax Board.
Paavo Nõgene has graduated from the University of Tartu and holds a degree in journalism and communications.

Paavo Nõgene’s term of office is three years. He does not own shares in the Company.
