Financial report of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company receives positive review
EY (Ernst & Young), which is one of four most influential audit companies around the world has conducted the audit of the combined financial reports for 2017 of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company, says ACSC.
During the meeting held with Mr. Rauf Valiye the chairman of the Company, and Mr. Ilgar Valiyev the managing partner of EY in Azerbaijan it was said that the report has been prepared in line with international standards and has fully met all requirements in terms of all significant aspects. It was also mentioned that the submission of the report ahead of its time has been a successful indicator of the commitment of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping to transparency and maintenance of accounting principles.
After the discussions, the parties approved the combined financial report of 2017.
Following the practice of previous years, the report has been placed on the official website of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company.
It is worth to note that Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company has been included into the list of public organizations, which are required to maintain its accounting and submit financial reports in accordance with international standards of Financial Reporting as approved by the Decision № 321 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, as of October 1, 2014.
