Container Terminal Saint-Petersburg invested RUB 256 million in modernization of its facilities in QI’2018
In January-March 2018, ZAO Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding), invested RUB 256 million as part of its modernization programme, says UCL Holding.
The bulk of the resources was spent for the development of port infrastructure and technological equipment of the terminal. In the first quarter of the current year the company purchased new equipment for production and administrative purposes, upgraded the terminal’s IT and safety systems.
For example, a barrier bar was installed at one of the berths for the process safety purposes.
In the reporting period, the company continued expanding the video surveillance system and IT infrastructure of the terminal.
ZAO Container terminal Saint-Petersburg (a company of UCL Port, stevedoring division of the international transportation group UCL Holding) is a modern facility handling all types of containerized cargo including refrigerated containers, oversized and dangerous cargo. In 2017, the company handled 643.700 TEUs.
