MCB and PortNews sign agreement on general partnership under 2nd Annual Conference “Dangerous cargoes” (photo)
Marine Cargo Bureau, one of Russia’s leaders in safe overseas shipping services, will support the Second Annual Conference “Dangerous cargoes: new transportation requirements” as its General Sponsor. The event will be held in Moscow in March 2019.
The agreement has been signed today, 7 June 2018, in Saint-Petersburg, at the round-table meeting “Maritime transportation of dangerous cargo of Class 1 – explosives” by Aleksandr Sitov, Director General of Marine Cargo Bureau, and Elena Snitko, Director General of OOO Media Group PortNews.
The Conference is dedicated to safe shipping of dangerous cargoes. Specific features of safety control system, its weaknesses, control and supervision of cargo operations, and best practices in transportation of dangerous cargoes will be covered by the conference participants.
The event will gather representatives of RF Transport Ministry, Rosmorrechflot, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Transport Prosecutor’s Office, Transport Committee of the State Duma, Harbour Masters of seaports, industry-focused educational institutions, stevedoring companies, owners of hazardous cargo, shipping companies, forwarders, surveyors and organizations recognized as experts in safe shipping of dangerous cargo.
