Cargo turnover of Yuzhny Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) up 0.3% in 2006

In 2006, cargo turnover of Yuzhny Commercial Seaport (Ukraine) totaled 20.8 million tons (+0.3%, year-on-year), the port’s administration reports according to RBC-Ukraine.  Cargo transshipment grew by 0.2% - to 3.7 million tons at the first cargo handling district and decreased by 2.8% - to 10.2 million tons at the second one.  In 2005, the port’s throughput grew by 9.7% - to 14.2 million tons (excluding contribution of stevedoring companies) and by 9.7% - to 20.7 million tons (considering their operation).
