Rostekhnadzor to examine feasibility study for construction of Kozmino Port
Head of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Inspection (Rostekhnadzor) Konstantin Pulikovsky has instructed the Service to carry out an ecological expertise of the feasibility study for the construction of Kozmino SpetsMorNeftePort at the section of the first stage of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline system, Rostekhnadzor says.
Besides, Mr. Pulikovsky has signed an order to start an ecological expertise of materials of the third stage extension project of the ESPO pipeline system on the route from the Talakanskoye field to the town of Aldan. The expertise will be held by independent experts-ecologists and specialists of Rostekhnadzor during 2 months.
As it was reported earlier, Rostekhnadzor declared the project of the underwater line through the Angara River on the section km 273.1 - km 313 of the Eastern Siberia-Pacific Ocean (ESPO) pipeline system environmentally acceptable. In addition, the Federal Service found the working project of the underwater line through the Ust-Ilim reservoir on the section km 457.3 - km 460.4 of the ESPO pipeline system environmentally acceptable too.
