On October 1, Brent oil prices rose more than $84 a barrel for the first time since 10 November 2014. The growth is mainly driven by fuel deficit fear.
Therefore, average indicative bunker prices surged at the port of Saint-Petersburg in the beginning of the week.
Bunker prices at the port of Rotterdam grew by +$19 on the average.
According to IAA PortNews Bunker Prices Review, bunker fuel prices at port St. Petersburg were as follows:
Average price of IFO-380 HS - $422 pmt (+$16).
Average price of MGO - $684 pmt (+$14).
Average price of ULSFO - $650 pmt (+$14).
IFO-380 HS price is ranging between $420 and $428 pmt, MGO – between $675 and $694 pmt.
The difference between maximum/minimum prices depends on the amount of fuel sold and its availability.
