Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port handled 3.34 million tonnes of cargo in 9M’18, up 13.1% Y-o-Y

In January-September 2018, Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port (Vladmorrybport OJSC) handled 3.34 million tonnes of different cargo (+13.1%, year-on-year), says the stevedoring company. According to the company’s statement, its total throughput in QI’2018 grew by 11.5%.

In the reporting period, the company handled 213,800 tonnes of fish (+19.7%, year-on-year).

Container throughput of the company grew by 15.4% to 130,440 TEUs including 48,484 TEUs (37%) of short-sea traffic.

In January-September 2018, Vladmorrybport handled 624 vessels including 167 vessels with fish.

Vladivostok Sea Fishing Port JSC is one of the leading ports in Russia’s Far East able to handle up to 5 million tonnes of cargo per year including more than 200,000 TEUs. It is located on the southern coast of the nonfreezing Zolotoi Rog Bay. The quay line of 10 berths which is 2,020 m long, 10 km of railway lines and 3 locomotives enable the company to handle 71 wagons per day. In 2017, the company handled 3.98 mln t of cargo (+19.6%).
