In January-September 2018, Russian seaports handled 604.23 million tonnes of cargo (4%, year-on-year) including 292.77 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+7.3%) and 311.46 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+1.1%), says press center of Federal Marine and River Transport Agency (Rosmorrechflot).
Seaports of the Arctic basin handled 62.46 million tonnes (+15.0%) including 22.53 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+3.8%) and 39.93 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+ 22.5 %).
Seaports of the Baltic Basin handled 182.25 million tonnes (-1.1%) including 81.31 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+5.8%) and 100.94 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-6.1%).
Seaports of the Azov-Black Sea Basin handled 205.48 million tonnes (+5.2%) including 91.69 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+9.4%) and 113.8 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (+2.0%).
Seaports of the Caspian Basin handled 3.56 million tonnes (+28.8%) including 1.98 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+1.8%) and 1.58 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (up 1.9 times).
Seaports of the Far East Basin handled 150.47 million tonnes (+4.4%) including 95.26 million tonnes of dry bulk cargo (+7.5%) and 55.21 million tonnes of liquid bulk cargo (-0.6%).
