Polskie LNG recognized as a leader in safe work

On Tuesday, 6 November at an official gala at the Mercure Centrum hotel in Wrocław, Paweł Mońka, Director of Health, Safety and Fire Protection Division at Polskie LNG received the Silver Card of Safe Work Leader awarded by CIOP-BIP, Polskie LNG says in a press release.
 
In October, the Safe Work Leader Award Committee of the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute awarded the title of Silver leaders to selected candidates and current members of the Safe Work Leaders' Forum who submitted the required applications together with justification. Polskie LNG has been a member of the Forum for three years now.
 
The awarding ceremony was a part of the 21st Conference of Safe Work Leaders' Forum titled Work Safety in the 21st century. 20 years of the Safe Work Leaders Forum, held on  6-7 November.
 
- Awarding the Silver Card of Safe Work Leader to Polskie LNG means that the Central Institute for Labour Protection - National Research Institute has recognised the occupational health and safety management system in our company, said Paweł Mońka, Director of the Health, Safety and Fire Protection Division at Polskie LNG at the award ceremony.
- The main criteria for positive assessment by the Committee included both a low rate of accidents at work and occupational diseases, as well as well-documented implementation of systematic preventive and educational activities in that area, Paweł Mońka added.

The Forum for Safe Work Leaders is an organization of 142 enterprises coordinated by CIOP-PIB, which may serve as models in matters related to the safe work policy.
 
Depending on the results achieved in all initiatives within work safety and health protection of employees as well as the scope and outcome of the cooperation with the Institute, the members may be awarded Green, Silver or the Gold Card of the Safe Work Leader.
